Tara is a 2007 daughter of the late RID stallion Hangon Johnny. Hangon Johnny was a stallion known for producing horses with a good mind, athletic and a solid conformation for holding up to the vigorous demands expected of the competition horse. Tara's Pedigree contains some of the very best breeding to be pulled together in a horse:

Huntingfield Beauty who  was exported back from the United States back home, where she are received her third Hornsby Premimum status by 2011 so has gained Select Hornsby Premium Status.

Ben Purple - who was a reknowned sire of great broodmares, and has produced some top International Jumpers including Olympic mount, Custom Made (ISH) ridden by David O'Connor.

Her dam Stoneygate Starlight was imported from Scotland, who's sire was the great Paddy's Pride who had a successful show career well into advanced age as a show jumper. Awards being for example British Performance Award for the Irish Draught twice with Paddy’s Pride (first time a Stallion and a pure bred had won) 5th 2002, 2nd 2003, 1st and still holding on to the record number of points in 2004. He is the only RID Stallion to have won the Irish Draught Performance Award! Which was in 1996 and 1998. Stoneygate Starlight is the only approved Paddy's Pride daughter in the United States.

Tara is 15.2 hds, has short cannon bones, level headed temperment, with a good shoulder and hip. .
