Longfield Farm also keeps a few other horses that have earned the right to call Longfield their final home. Some of horses still campaign on occaision, but mostly they go out for the occaisional hack around the neighborhood. They are have such personalities and have left their mark on our hearts that they deserve to have their own page. So hopefully you'll enjoy seeing them as you do our other horses.

Gracie - Appaloosa Show mare, 15 years old, has points in halter, WP and local halter classes. She's well bred but she's just used for packing friends around, her owner Paul believes she's the most perfect mare in the whole world and can do no wrong, I might beg to differ but she's a good mare and has been with the farm for 5 years now.

Bugs Moon - Quarter Horse Show Mare - 24, has over 70+ points in AQHA youth events from halter, western pleasure, hunter under saddle and 1 point in barrel racing. She was a rescue mare from a local rescue that we acquired her from, she's been given to my neice April to be her horse, April is special needs, and absolutely adores horses, and while she may never drive or enjoy things we all take for granted, she's got what she wants most, and that's her own horse that's just like her Aunties horse, Doc.

Doc-Monster - Appaloosa show horse - 15 years old, has points in jumping Level 1 and Level 2 in the Adult Amatuer classes, he's quite the character, and has earned his reputation for being the laziest, chowhound of a pony, but with one heck of a jump. Who would have believed a Kansas City bred cow horse could have a jump like he does in such a small package. He keeps me humble and mostly broke and has a hissy fit when he's not waited on but he's Doc.

RC Ring My Bell - Pinto Hunter -Type Show Pony, 5 years old, has his ROM in most colorful and his ROE in Hunter Type Halter Pony. He's lead the standings in Pinto both nationally and in the Minnesota State. He will eventually finish training in driving and will end up back in the show ring again. Currently his occupation is baby-sitting a two year old quarter horse filly Coal Town Scarlette and eating as much hay as he can get.
